Richard Dutton, 96 of Vero Beach died January 2017.

Born in Hartford, CT August 6, 1920 to Muriel and Charles Dutton, Richard graduated from Hartford Public High School and Boeing School of Aeronautics. Richard married the late Helen Fox Dutton in 1953. They lived in Medford, NJ and retired to Vero Beach in 1985.

Richard worked for Pan American Airways in Seattle and Fairbanks, Alaska.
He served in the Navy during WWII as Chief Petty Officer, First Class where he ran the aircraft instrument shop on the USS Intrepid in the South Pacific. After the war he attended California Polytechnic Institute. Richard had a long career in Sales and Marketing ultimately with Mobil Chemical, Plastics Division.

He is survived by his daughter Deborah, her husband Gildas Allanic, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A service will be held February 18, 2017 at 10:00 am at Indian River Estates, 2250 Indian Creek Blvd W, Vero Beach, FL 32966 February 18, 10 am.
