Obituary for
Mary E. DeRocco
Mary E. DeRocco, 89, passed away March 23, 2017. She was born November 6, 1927 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. She has lived in Vero Beach since 1987, coming from the Vernon-Manchester, Connecticut area.
In Connecticut, she worked for Manchester Memorial Hospital in outpatient and administration and also as manager of the jewelry and cosmetics departments at Sears. She was an amazing artist whose paintings of animals won local awards and grace many walls. She was a communicant at St. Helen Church.
She is survived by three sons, Thomas (Faith) Mesenbourg of MD, James (Nancy) Mesenbourg of Long Island,NY, and Timothy (Rhonda) Mesenbourg of RI; and her daughter, Mary Lambert of Vero Beach, FL: three grandsons, Bryan (Meghan) Mesenbourg, Nick Mesenbourg (fiancé Emily), Gregory (Pam) Lambert; two granddaughters, Alina (Jamey) Graydon, Erika Mesenbourg (Hector Velez); and four great-grandchildren, Trey, Alexandra, and Noah Graydon, and Cypress Mesenbourg; niece Lori Gurcius; and her first husband and father of her children, Thomas L. Mesenbourg of Plantation, FL.
She is predeceased by a daughter, Susan, in 1974, brother, Sam Derby, and husband James DeRocco.
