Sherrian Smith
Sherrian E Smith, 64, of Vero Beach, passed into the Lords care, June 14, 2017.
She was born in Portland, OR, on September 4,1952 and graduated from Marshall High and attended the University of Oregon. She was the beloved wife of Denzil Smith for the past 29 years.
She was employed at Western Airlines/ Delta Air Lines from 1984 till her retirement in 2005. She began her career as a secretary in Anchorage, later transferring to Atlanta where she was secretary to the Atlanta Station Manager, then to the reservations department. She completed her career as an international rates and reissue agent. She was proud to work for Delta and of her many achievements while employed. Her time spent with Delta in Atlanta was one of her most gratifying experiences due to her many friends.
Sherri, (Sharon to her family in Oregon), is survived by her husband, two sisters, a brother, mother in law, sister in law, and numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews, that she loved deeply.
Sherri loved the outdoors.She was an avid angler, loved to snow ski, and was proud to have received her open water card in scuba diving. She loved the beach in Vero and teased her friends and family in the winter time by sending them pictures of the beautiful weather.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Salvation Army.
