Obituary for
Sandra Acquaviva
Sandra Joan Acquaviva, 75, of Vero Beach, passed away Saturday, June 17th, 2017.
She was born to the late Carl and Gerry Sivertsen on February 1, 1942 in Kearny, New Jersey. She married young and had 4 children with the late Fred Acquaviva. They soon moved and made a life in Vero Beach, Florida in the late 60’s. Sandy spent many years in Vero Beach before relocating to Pinellas Park, FL, where she lived until 1996. She returned to Vero Beach, where she remained for the rest of her life with her children and grandchildren.
Sandy was a loving Mother who always provided, even when things got rough. She always put Jesus as number one and brought many to the Lord, especially all her children and grandchildren. Sandy loved to cook, spend time in her garden, and feed the birds. Sandy was a very active member of First Church of God in Vero Beach.
Sandy is survived by her children, Maria Rorick, Marsha Dotson, Michael Acquaviva all of Vero Beach and Joseph Acquaviva of Pinellas Park. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Monday June 26, from 5-7pm at Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday June 27th at 1pm at First Church of God, with the burial immediately following at Crestlawn Cemetery.
