Robert ""Greg"" Dickson
Robert Gregory Dickson (Greg) 57, of Vero Beach Florida passed away comfortably in his home July 21, 2017 after short battle with cancer.
At his request no service will be held.
Greg was born October 29, 1959 in Melbourne Florida to Wayne and Bonnie Dickson. Greg was a graduate of North Clayton High School in Georgia. Shortly after graduation, he moved to Florida and found work as a tile setter. In 1986, he obtained his commercial drivers license. He started working for Eckerd drug, for which he worked for 30 years. During his career, he received multiple awards including safe driver award and driver of the year.
He was a lover of all sports, in particular NASCAR and baseball, as well as a lifelong fan of the Miami Marlins, Atlanta Braves, Georgia Bulldogs, and Bill Elliott. Later in life, he spent his free time going to country music concerts with his friends and son, Robbie.
He is survived by his daughter Betty Jean Haase of Missouri, son Robert Dickson of Virginia, Stepson Paul Knite of Florida, stepmother Dot Dickson of Georgia, 9 grandchildren Alivia, Adelaide, Elston, Paityn, Kennady, Gabby, Kayden, Nevaeh and Carter.
Predeceased by his mother Bonnie Stone, father Wayne Dickson, Brother Mark Dickson and stepson Steven Knite.
