ELMAN ANTONIO DIAZ MOLINA

Elman Antonio Diaz, 43, of Vero Beach, died Saturday September 23rd with his family by his side.

He was born to Roberto and Yolanda Diaz on April 20th, 1974 in San Salvador, El Salvador, Central America. Elman graduated from Vero Beach High School in 1992. He was engaged to Trish Walsh and they lived together in Vero Beach.

Elman was an entrepreneur early in life owning a pizzeria, Slices, in Sebastian. His most recent employment was ten years with The Economic Opportunities Council in Vero Beach as an Eligibility Intake Coordinator. As Intake Coordinator Elman felt privileged to help out families and their young children and took great pride in his position.

Elman was an avid fisherman, loved boating, and enjoyed traveling and cruising. His greatest love was his family. Family gatherings were blessings to him and he treasured those times.

Elman is survived by his parents, Roberto and Yolanda Diaz, Fiancé Trish Walsh, brother Roberto, sisters Yolanda Diaz and Fiancé Robert Lopez, Maritza Al-Khatib, Maybel Escobar and brother in-law Wbaldo Escobar, Aunt Alba Luz Diaz, nephew Robert William, niece Ellie, niece Monica, nephew Jose, niece Amira, nephew Anthony, nephew Arty, nephew Rami, niece Stephanie, great niece Kaylee, great niece Alexis, great nephew Daniel, great niece Kiera, great nephew Jesus and great niece Victoria.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM, Thursday, September 28th at Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home, followed by a Funeral Service at 7pm in the chapel. To honor Elman’s request, please dress in bright colors. Following the service will be a Celebration of Elman’s life at his sister’s home, all are welcome. The family requests donations to the American Kidney Fund in Elman’s name in lieu of flowers to www.kidneyfund.org/.
