My father, Robert William Lamanque, Junior, passed away during the early morning on April 12th, 2016.
My Dad was not much of a Social Media kind of guy and most of the comments and pictures throughout the years in places like Facebook, were contributions made by me, my sisters and close relatives and friends.
My Dad died a happy man. Surrounded by a swarm of grandkids and grandcousins, well loved by many throughout the world for his style of humor, knowledge, faith and philantrophy, Dad wore his pride like a badge of honor and wasn't afraid to show it. The license plates on my Dads truck would read 'Bless You' and' Bless You 2'.
My Dad was a career soldier in the U.S. Army. He then continue to serve as a Project Manager for the Army Corps of Engineers, Middle East Division. Whilst in service, my Dad was a dedicated stealth human rights activist, explorer, outdoors and creative kind of guy. With Dad, there was always some kind of adventure and I can honestly say, when Dad was around, we and I mean, all of us, were never bored. Robert William Lamanque, Jr. ,"UNCLE BOB" to many, was a great man. A man of valor, principle and trust. My hero. The kind of man I hope to be like and carry on in my heart for the rest of my life.
Robert Williams Lamanque, Jr is survived by his wife, "Auntie Rory" Aurora Sebrina Vergara Lamanque, my older sister, Karen Tracy Lust, Trista Francis Patton and myself, Jacques Paul LaManque.
One of my Dads favorite quotes, and these are the clean ones is: "Be kinder than necessary, for everyone is fighting through some sort of battle."~Alexander The Great
