James “Jacka” Giacomuzzi, 87, passed away February 15, 2017 in Vero Beach, FL. He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Frances (Belforti) Giacomuzzi; three children, Marie Thomason of Bellingham, MA, Mark Giacomuzzi of Medway, MA and son James Giacomuzzi Jr. of Fort Lauderdale, FL; and five grandchildren. Jacka was born in Milford MA and was the son of the late Virginia (SanClemente) and James B. Giacomuzzi.

Jacka was an avid ballplayer and after graduating high school he signed a contract with the Brooklyn Dodgers and attended winter camp at Dodger Town here in Vero Beach, FL. He proudly served in the United State Air Force and was a graduate of Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, MA.

Services will be held Thursday, March 2, 2017 at 10:30 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 5 E. Main Street Milford MA 01757.
