Condolences

Condolence From: Gail & Bill Black
Condolence: We will miss Pete so much in our lives. He was such a joy to be around and he was always a calm presence. We feel that he had a very hard time over the last few months and he was such a loving and supportive husband for Barbara. We always enjoyed the visits that he and Barbara made to our home. That was something we always looked forward too. Anytime we heard that Clemson had won a game in any sport we knew that Pete was celebrating. We were blessed to know this wonderful creation of God. We now know that he is in a better place and he can always watch the games for free.
We love you. Uncle Pete.

Condolence: Pete.... I'm deeply sorry you departed from us so soon...I remember when you came to Piper for an interview and soon you joined us as you wanted to be in Vero Beach to be closer to your parents. I remember we went out to lunch with Jim Dugalbee and I had a chance to get to know you better and we worked together for 14 years and eventually we became good friends. I especially liked that you loved Israel, that you were teaching at your church, and that you visited people in the nursing home...I'll surely miss your annual Christmas card every year and we will see each other soon in God's presence.

Condolence: My condolences to Pete's family. I met Pete in 1952 when I went to Clemson as another of the few Florida boys there. I was from West Palm Beach and sometimes shared a ride back and forth to Clemson with Pete. We Florida boys were so few we had to stick together and keep track of who we might be able to get rides with back and forth to school! I've enjoyed being reacquainted with Pete at our Class of 1956 activities and will miss him.

Condolence From: Dallas Wehner
Condolence: My sincere condolences to Pete's family. During the many years I worked with Pete at Piper Aircraft he taught me much. He was such a kind and good soul (even when he looked over the top of his glasses with his little mischievous grin). Pete and his knowledge will be deeply missed and remembered with fondness by his many friends.
God Bless and with heart felt sympathy

Condolence: My wife, Mary, and I have known Pete and Barbara since 1973. Pete was a good man, an aeronautical engineer, private pilot, thespian, active in his church and a keen follower of the Clemson Tigers.
We were greatly saddened to hear of Pete's passing.
We send our condolences to Barbara, Brian and Buck.
