Dougie died unexpectedly Sunday, October 15th at the tender age of 3. Dougie’s life would seem too short to most, but those who were lucky enough to be at the receiving end of his smile understood that the quality of his existence far exceeded the short time he was with us. With Dougie’s passing we are reminded that life is all too short and every day is a gift. This beautiful child who warmed our hearts everyday he was with us, will be missed and cherished all the days of our lives. Dougie went to heaven with his brother and best friend Brayden Michael Geving.

Dougie is survived by his parents Douglas Staniewicz, Megan Geving, and Alexander Geving; sisters, 2-month-old Riley Geving and 1yr old McKenzie Delmonte; Grandmother Karen Kendall, Grandparents Doug and Mimi Mcvay , Charlotte Geving, Mark Geving and Rose Moroz; Aunts Genevieve Diaz, Michelle Donzella, and McKenzie Perkins; Uncles Pedro Diaz, Tony Perkins and Tony Geving; Aunt Amanda and Uncle AJ Waukazo, Uncle Aaron and Aunt Jackie Geving, and cousins Jacob, Mariah, Macie, Alexandra, Jordan, Gage, Ashton, Avery, Anna, Ava, Aria, and Andrew. He is also survived by Iowa family, Aunt Nancy, Uncle Larry & Linda, Aunt Kathy and Uncle George; Cousins Shannon, Sydney, Lainey, Jason, Andrea, Finley, Sage, Sarah, Tyler, Lauren, Andrew, Emily, Aimiee, Eric, Ella, Jack, Tiffany, Griffin, Gavin, Ava, Chris, Breana, Bowan, Elan, Joshua, Jessica, Kayley and Julian. Florida, Pennsylvania and Virginia family, Aunt Jackie, Aunt Jo, Aunt Gerrie and Uncle Fred, Aunt Janine and Uncle David; Cousins Lynnette, Gary, Garret, Aaron, Kathleen, Justin, Carter, Monique, Jordan, Madison, Michael, Noah, Brandon, Aaron, Ada, Paul, Jessica, George and Samantha.
